ARKITEKT / Gestalt
Two tools I am building for my own daily use inside Reaper. One is a toolkit, one is an engine. Both exist because owning the instrument changes what you can play.
ARKITEKT
A cohesive toolkit of Reaper scripts sharing one UI language: responsive, theme-adaptive, opinionated. Built in Lua and ReaImGui. The goal is not a pile of utilities, it is a consistent surface where every script feels like part of the same instrument.
Gestalt
Bitwig and Ableton style modular racks brought into Reaper: modulation, routing and FX in one UX-first environment. C++ VST plus Lua and ReaImGui. The part that matters beyond Reaper: Gestalt's modulation model is the same math now driving this site's visuals. The empreinte system that animates the hero is descended directly from this rack.
ARKITEKT
Reaper toolkit. Lua / ReaImGui. Status: WIP.
Gestalt
Modular rack. C++ VST / Lua / ReaImGui. Status: coming.
Why roll my own
Same reason as everything else I make: the tool you use all day should be shaped to you, and a capability you own can be pointed at the next project for free. Gestalt is the proof. It was built for music, and it is already running the visuals.
ARKITEKT is WIP and Gestalt is not out yet, so this entry has to be careful about show versus tease. Tell me what is demoable now (a screenshot, a clip, a script list) and what stays a teaser. Links go in a button row once they exist.
